Simplicity maintained

THE SIMPLICITY OF THE BASIC SIRAD MAINTAINED
WHILE EXTRA FEATURES ADDED FOR YOUR PEACE-OF-MIND

Even though we have added important additional features to RADTriage, for all practical purposes we have maintained the simplicity of the basic SIRAD badge. For normal uses, users only need to match the colors of the sensing strips with the adjacent color reference bars to instantly determine their dose.

Many users and organizations have expressed concerns in the past two years about the potential for false positives/negatives and the costs associated with returning the badges for analysis. We have added the extra features, such as the FIT Indicator and scratch-off bars, to minimize your concern and to avoid the cost of returning the badge for analysis for false positives/negatives determination or estimation of reliable dose. These extra features only need to be looked at if you are concerned whether (1) the dosimeter is active (i.e., capable for monitoring radiation exposure), (2) sensitivity/calibration has changed or (3) the sensors have developed color possibly due to a false positive. These extra features answer all these questions reliably and instantly and give you peace-of-mind.
