CHLORINE DIOXIDE INDICATORS

    CHLORINE & CHLORINE DIOXIDE INDICATORS

We have a series of indicators which undergo a variety of color changes (e.g., colorless-to-blue or red and blue-to-colorless or pink) when exposed to low concentrations of chlorine and chlorine dioxide.

Chlorine and chlorine dioxide indicators change colors from 1 to 1,000 ppm. They are integrators/dosimeters and hence they change color when total exposure to time, temperature, humidity and concentration of chlorine dioxide required for sterilization is reached. At a lower concentration, longer exposure and at higher concentration shorter exposure will be required for the color change. The indicators do not indicate concentration of the gas.

Indicators for higher concentration of chlorine and chlorine dioxide are also available.

As chlorine dioxide can be produced by UV light and moisture, a few of the indicators also change color with both UV light and moisture.

The indicator formulations are in form of gravure/flexo inks. They can be printed in form of labels or printed directly on the pouches.
